This was possible thanks to the acquisition of Velvet Glass International d.o.o.
– an internationally known glass factory inasmuch first to introduce a design concept in an industry highly technical but not creative such as the glass bottle industry. With its new luxury design bottle collection, Italesse strengthens its presence in the international market and targets food and beverage companies producing top quality wines, distillates, oils and vinegars.
The bottles are made using production lines which would usually be destined to premium perfumery, in order to obtain an extra white glass with the luxurious qualities of velvet, that originally inspired Velvet Glass® patented glass quality. The bottles, composed of this “velvet- like glass”, stand out for their thick
and pure bases, are made with superior hi-tech steel moulds and their weight is balanced making them ecologically sustainable.
The technical and formal features of the bottles are fruit of the advanced production processes employed from the design phase, to the creation of complex moulds right up to the personalization of the nished product. The final result is a “jewel”, a Velvet Glass® quality bottle that meets the most complex demands of the luxury food and beverage markets.
